Foundation Revision Course with
Mock Assessment
(Online Programme)

If you are an RCPharm foundation trainee member and have booked on to the Revision Course with Mock Assessment programme, then nothing additional needs to be done regarding the mock assessment element as this is included.

This year, the Mock Assessment will stay open for an extended period to accommodate the November sitters who wish to sit the mock assessment later in the year.

It will open on Tuesday 12 May and will close on Wednesday 4 November.

We encourage you to complete the mock assessment ahead of attending the feedback sessions if you choose to attend these in May or June. Otherwise recordings of these will be available for you to watch later in the year.

Ahead of the open date, you will receive an email from RCPharm Events with your platform login details, a handbook of how to navigate the platform and other information you may find useful ahead of completing the assessment.

You can complete Part 1 and Part 2 at separate times, but you only have one attempt at each, and you must submit your answers before the time runs out to access the answers and explanations. Please allow a further two minutes to do this.

Please note, whilst we try to mirror the GPhC assessment as much as we can, this won't be identical.

Pass mark for the RCPharm practice registration assessment
We don't set a pass mark for our practice assessment. The assessment is aimed to support revision and helps trainees identify areas for further learning.

The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) do not share details of their pass mark in advance of the sitting. The pass mark changes each year, and the GPhC use robust assessment and statistical models to review and revise this on an annual basis where necessary. Further details of GPhC processes can be found on their website here.

It should be noted that performance in the RPS practice assessment does not provide an accurate indication of your performance in the GPhC registration assessment, and we would advise trainees to continue to prepare and revise for your assessment as planned.
