Leading Change across Scotland
Join us in Scotland for an inspiring and forward-thinking pharmacy conference.
Be part of something special as we return to Scotland for our second conference, bringing together pharmacy professionals and healthcare leaders from across all sectors to explore the latest developments shaping the future of pharmacy. This year’s powerful theme, Leading Change, will explore how pharmacy is shaping—and accelerating—the future of healthcare, both for our workforce and the patients we support.
Built around the five commitments of the new Royal College of Pharmacy, the conference will highlight the power of leadership, collaboration, and innovation in a rapidly changing healthcare landscape. More importantly, it will show how these commitments can inspire, empower, and equip pharmacists to lead with confidence and purpose.
Throughout the day, you’ll gain valuable insights into the evolving pharmacy landscape through a dynamic programme of expert speakers, interactive sessions, and meaningful networking opportunities—all designed to support your professional growth and ultimately improve patient care.
What can you expect on the day?
Inspiring Keynote Speakers
We’re delighted to welcome our exceptional keynote speaker who will challenge and inspire your thinking.
Dame Laura Lee, CEO of Maggie’s cancer charity, will open the day with a powerful morning keynote. She’ll share how Maggie’s innovative, person-centred approach supports people to live well with and beyond cancer—and explore how closer collaboration with the NHS could transform future cancer care over the next 30 years.
Leading Change: Better patient care through pharmacy
Through a series of engaging, quick-fire presentations, you’ll hear directly from local pharmacists who have led meaningful change in their communities, demonstrating the tangible impact pharmacy can have on improving patient care.
Leading change for the profession and workforce
Hear from Dr Catherine Labinjoh and Anne Thomson (Scottish Government) as they explore what value-based health and care means for pharmacy. You’ll gain insight into how to navigate risk, maximise impact, and how to play a leading role in shaping the future workforce.
Connect, collaborate, and grow
Round off the day with some post-conference networking, where you can relax, reflect, and connect with peers from across Scotland. It’s the perfect opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen relationships, and build new collaborations.
This is more than a conference, it’s your opportunity to be part of the conversation shaping the future of pharmacy and has opportunities for everyone, no matter your location, your work setting or your career stage.
