The RPS has developed a post-registration development pathway for patient-focussed pharmacists across all sectors in the UK. The RPS core advanced curriculum describes the expectation of entry-level advanced pharmacists and bridges the gap between the expectations of the post-registration foundation curriculum and the consultant pharmacist curriculum.
The RPS core advanced curriculum is underpinned by the RPS Advanced Pharmacy Framework (2013) and sets out the expected entry-level outcomes for an advanced pharmacist. The outcomes are aligned to multiprofessional advanced frameworks and curricula whilst articulating the pharmacist and medicines-specific knowledge and skills required by advanced pharmacists.
Come along to the Launch webinar for the Core Advanced Pharmacist curriculum where you will hear more regarding the curriculum and be able to ask any questions you may have.
